The Benefits of Purely Poured

Clean Burn. Conventional candles are created with paraffin; paraffin is a by-product of petroleum. Now that I know what I know, there's no way in hell I would burn anything but pure soy, palm wax or beeswax in my house. Purely Poured Soy Candles are created with 100% pure soy wax. If you're already on the soy candle bandwagon and have purchased a big-name brand, check the label. If it doesn't say 100% pure soy on the label, there's a good chance that the candle is blended with paraffin. Why? Paraffin is less expensive, it's easier to work with, and it has a more consistent and perfect appearance.

No Waste. No tunneling. Purely Poured Soy Candles burn straight down to the glass. Premium quality wicks stand up and last through the entire burn. Pure cotton, no lead, no zinc.

Low Price. Purely Poured Soy Candles contain the same high-quality ingredients as candles selling for $30 and higher. How can I sell Purely Poured Soy Candles for only $12? Well, when you buy the from me, you're buying them directly from the person who made them. Hand-poured in small batches. And I keep the packaging simple.

Amazing Scents. Purely Poured Soy Candle scents are created with essential oil. Pure and deep, ranging from fresh and fruity, to woody and musky.

Burn Time. Each 8 oz candle burns for approximately 40 hours. For best results, burn for about 3-4 hours at a time, keep the candle away from drafts, and be sure to trim the wick before relighting.

Successful Run

Wow. Seven shows over the past six weeks, about twice as many as I had originally planned. A wonderful start. And now I must pause. Right before the holidays?! you say. Yes.

Online purchasing will be available in early 2010. Till then, please don't hesitate to send your requests directly to me by emailing HEY AT PURELY POURED DOT COM (yes, that's HEY). I will be filling orders from now through the first part of December.

A super big thank you to all the fellow vendors (good people and so much talent out there), friends and new customers for your encouragement, support, thoughts, ideas, and honest feedback. Cheers!

Happily Busy, Very Much So

Preparing for back-to-back shows. Purely Poured will be in Edgewater (the Farmer Fridays market at Uncommon Ground, 4-8P), Fairview in Mt Prospect, and the French Market in downtown Wheaton this weekend. I'll personally be at the latter two. In Edgewater, a friend will be representing my soy candles along with her own blended organic loose-leaf tea.
